We continue to drive from Bolzano Jenesien . Continues until after Flaas , a group of San Genesio . In the village center (are actually only a few houses ) We turn next right signs "Jenesigner Jöchl" and first on an asphalt road , then on a gravel path up to the Jenesinger Jöchl , where we Park our car .

Now quickly the backpack aufgepackt and off it goes ! We pass a first Forest bar and follow the forest road in the direction of "Cleaning cross" . It takes longer , then the path is divided . We chose links (Mark 5) and walk further to the end of the forest path . Turn left and continue until crossing a forest , where we find more tags : Möltner Kaser , Hotel Alpine etc . We put our hike towards Möltner Kaser (Mark 5), left onto , on . The trail leads us to a wooden fence , we exceed the . It goes further then this fence about Kaserböden towards Stoanerne Mandln . The Kaserböden can we see already the first stone figures , We must pass still a small valley and come then approximately 1,5 until 2 Hours to cross the Stoanernen Mandln at .

Us offers a wonderful view : in the East of the Sarntal and beyond Dolomites with Schlern und Rose garden , in the South the Adige Valley , in the West the Burggrafenamt Merano with behind it the Vinschgau . Unfortunately, the view is not quite ideal today , but we are here , to admire the stone figures !

To the Stoanernen Mandln in winter

We are back on the path marked 4 at , i.e.. First we go a little direction Hotel Alp , so to the North on a path, which is surrounded with Mountain Pines. We may decide at the next crossing , If we want to make a small detour to the outside pasture or rather want to go towards Berggasthaus Möltner Kaser .

We opt for Möltner Kaser and so contact back . After approximately one and a half hours we reach the Mountain Inn and look at the menu full of hunger at once :

• Dumpling soup
• Gerstsuppe
• Lamb with dumplings or rice
• Roast pork with dumplings or rice
• Cheese - or bacon dumplings
• Goulash with dumplings
• Kaiserschmarren

So perfect for South Tyrol hiking . Tip : is it the Dumplings total are recommended !

Gets the NAP after food and drink , We find a beautiful cookies us so behind the Inn on the juicy alpine meadow for our blankets and blow us away in the ear. Wonderful as a NAP on the Alm , surrounded by cows with their Schellengeläute .

Rested we step on the path marked 1 Back to the car to . It takes a short hour until we reach the starting point to approximately .
